Know what to fix.
Every swing.
Axion AX1 is a grip-mounted 3D swing analyzer with an AI coach in the app. It reads your club through the whole swing, takeaway to finish, then tells you the one thing to work on next. Made by Epson, refined over three generations in Japan.

3-IN-1
Your swing, your putting and your body. One sensor, one app.
Three tools usually mean three devices and three apps. Axion puts all of them in one sensor and your phone. iPhone and Samsung.

01 3D SWING
See your swing in 3D
Every swing replayed in 3D, takeaway to finish. Tempo and release through the swing, then face, path and speed at impact.

02 PUTTING
Dial in your putting stroke
Same sensor, on your putter. Stroke speed, tempo, face and path on every putt, so you know whether your stroke repeats.

03 AXION BODY
See what your body did
Prop up your phone and the camera tracks shoulder tilt, spine tilt and head sway. Body and club, on the same swing.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
Most misses start before impact.
Takeaway, top, transition, release. By the time the ball is in the air, the cause is already over. Axion measures the club through all of it, so you see why the ball did what it did.
A launch monitor shows the result
It tracks the ball after impact: speed, spin and carry. Great for what happened, but it can't show how your club got there.
A camera shows your body
Video shows posture and positions, not what the club is doing. You can't read face angle or path from a camera alone.
Axion shows the club
Face, path and speed, takeaway to finish. The cause behind every result. On its own, or next to a launch monitor.
HOW THE APP WORKS
See it. Understand it. Fix it.
A thousand times a second, Axion tracks the club in 3D. The app turns that into four screens: what happened, and what to do about it.

01 · SEE IT
Watch every swing back in 3D.
Every swing, rendered from the sensor's own data. Scrub through it, switch between down-the-line, face-on and top views, and see where your path left the plane before the ball ever moved.

02 · UNDERSTAND IT
The verdict first. Then all 12 numbers.
One plain sentence says what the shot did and why: "your face was open to your path, so the ball started left and curved right." Under it, all 12 metrics, with the one that needs work flagged.

03 · DIG IN
Tap any number and it explains itself.
Every metric opens a card in plain English: what it means, what it does to your ball flight, this swing against your target range, and the clubface at impact from above.

04 · FIX IT
Your AI coach tells you what to work on first.
After a session, the coach reads your swing type, sums up every ball you hit, and puts the fixes in order. Work on the first one. Next session, see if the number moved.

Ball flight, spin and distance are calculated from the measured club data, not tracked by radar or camera. Head speed, club path and face angle correlate closely with a commercial-grade multi-camera launch monitor system in driver and 7 iron testing. Axion is not a launch monitor and isn't trying to be one. It shows you the part of the swing a launch monitor can't see. App screens show a sample session.

PROVEN IN JAPAN. BUILT FOR THE US.
Millions of swings in Japan. Now built for American golfers.
This isn't a first attempt. Epson engineered the sensor in Japan and refined it over three generations before bringing it to the US.
Epson built the sensor on its gyroscope technology and refined it over three generations in Japan. Flightpath Golf and Pilesout built the US version together, with swing algorithms made for golf.
It reads how your club moves a thousand times a second, and only records when it feels the club strike a ball. In testing, head speed, club path and face angle correlated closely with a commercial-grade multi-camera launch monitor system on driver and 7 iron.

HOW IT WORKS
Screw it in and swing.
A 12-gram sensor that threads into the end of your grip. No tripod, no camera, nothing to set down behind you. Indoors or out, it records every ball you hit.

STEP 1
Thread it into your grip
Screw the attachment into the grip, click the sensor on and line up the white mark. Three attachments come in the box, so one can live in each club you work on.
STEP 2
Pair it and pick your club
Open the app, pair over Bluetooth and pick the club in your hands. The numbers calibrate to that club's loft, lie and length.
STEP 3
Hit balls. Every one is recorded.
Range, net, garage or course. It only records when the club strikes a ball, so practice swings don't clutter your history. The battery lasts about six months.

We'll ask what you think as the app grows. Feedback is optional. The sensor and the lifetime app are yours either way.
From the Flightpath team: we've had AX1 units in hand and on the range for months. The hardware is finished. What we're building now is the American app around it, and we'd rather build that with 200 golfers who use it every week than guess. Your feedback shapes what ships next.
